Introduction

Your well-developed plan has been approved and the plan will now serve as your personal road map to help guide you through the actual field experience. The supervised school experience is an opportunity to demonstrate what you can do with what you know. Also, the field experience affords opportunities to strengthen your existing set of skills and abilities and to turn existing weaknesses into strengths. Reflection is a critical component within this process. Reflection is facilitated throughout the process and helps to determine how you are doing and how you can do better. Continuously seeking opportunities to improve your performance and the performance of others is the key to success in all professions and Specialists in Instructional Technology are no exception.
