4.05 Shared Goal. Lead a group consisting of educators and others to the attainment of a shared goal.

Introduction

What is the shared goal? What is the leadership process you will use to reach the shared goal? Do group members hold any conflicting goals? As you see leading a group of people to a shared goal is a complex undertaking. For this competency, discuss group characteristics, methods used to manage group dynamics, along with problems and successes with reaching the shared goal.

    • Within INSYS 462, create a product that demonstrates your understanding of how to lead a group consisting of educators and others to the attainment of a shared goal.
    • Detail the Leadership skills needed by Technology Coordinators when working to achieve goals and at the same time have the goals shared and embraced by others.
    • Discuss how to foster this process with people who don't necessarily share your enthusiasm for the goal/s you are striving to achieve.
