Professional Organizations. Investigate and
describe professional organizations that would benefit
Technology Coordinators and detail their purpose and
value.
Introduction
Technology Coordinators all lead extremely busy
lives with demanding jobs, family responsibilities, and
civic and charitable pursuits. Some even have personal
lives! So why spend the time participating in
professional organizations? It is because these
organizations can expand knowledge and skills, and in
doing so, bring professional fulfillment. Networking via
professional organizations is one of the best ways to
establish contacts, review policy, learn about emerging
technologies, and add to the respected body of knowledge
in the field. Through professional organizations,
Technology Coordinators have the opportunity to
demonstrate personal talents and skills to members of
business and the community. By doing this, long-lasting
relationships are built. Becoming active in organizations
will have the potential to enhance your career and your

Communications and Technology's (AECT)
website
- Detail AECT's purpose.
- List the benefits of AECT to Technology
Coordinators.
